(officially giving skating another go and not stopping until I sustain an injury worse than the time I was talked into standing up going down KEERE STREET  and grazed my face/chest/legs/back/bum, bit a chunk out of my tongue and woke up the next day not blue but BLACK-that photo doesn’t do it justice it’s practically vertical, apparently once George IV drove a coach and horses down it for a bet, surprised he didn’t break his neck. I will avoid cobbles in the future)

I once spent an entire summer trying to learn how to ollie and all that happened is a pretty much ruined my kneecaps for ever and also managed to not break but BEND my arm bone so the x-ray went like a helter-skelter, my best friend at the time was trying to bmx and ended up hurtling down my road straight into a brick wall and breaking both her arms, we were so cool.
