An underwater river in Mexico.

Taken by Anatoly Beloshchin in the cave Cenote Angelita, Mexico.

“We are 30 meters deep, fresh water, then 60 meters deep – salty water and under me I see a river, island and fallen leaves… Actually, the river, which you can see, is a layer of hydrogen sulphide.”(which is very poisonous but denser than water thus making this phenomena possible)

From Sofia Coppola’s debut short film ‘Lick the Star’
I wish I was a red lobate ctenophore or at least bioluminescent
So far we have explored just one percent of the deep ocean floor
I finally figured out how to do screenshots of DVDs without them being saved blank. Prepare yourselves for mass amounts of film stills from this day forth!
Why do I want to do art, I should clearly just become a marine biologist
